Great laptop for the price!
Pros:
Textured mousepad was weird at first, but I’ve decided I like it, also because the multi-touch performance.
HDMI jack
Runs cool and quietly
Although others have got complained concerning the key pad, I have not a problem with it.
I personally love it came using the disc drive in a couple of partitions, a C: and D: space.
Screen is as described, very vibrant and clear.
Full keypad about the side.
I’ve no knowledge whatsoever with Asus’s customer support, but I’ll give them the good thing about the doubt and stick them under Pros.
Mic and headphone jacks are right on the front left side, rendering it much less difficult to use headphones by using shorter cords.
I bought it only at Amazon, plus it was shipped and packed promptly and well.
Cons:
Probably the most major con using this machine would be that the speakers are incredibly average, by which in turn I mostly mean quiet. I originated from a Dell system which had amazing sound these are an enormous disappointment by comparison. They’re fine for basic purposes but in case you have got any intention of listening to music, you’ll definitely need external speakers, especially for classical music, which usually is frequently recorded at a decrease volume anyway than pop/rock.
Webcam is only .3mpx
Face identification logon is cool, and reasonably quick, but takes far longer than just writing the password.
Screen is glossy, as opposed to matte, which unfortunately makes reflections very annoying.
Not too it genuinely matters for me, however the screen does not lock closed. It’s far much less annoying than it sounds, though.
Because on the crappy speakers, I wouldn’t label this machine a excellent multimedia choice, but in the price, it’s a fantastic all-around deal!
